The Atkinson Centre is a research centre at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto (UT). It is a partnership with the School of Early Childhood (George Brown College), working in collaboration with the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute for Child Study (UT), Science of Early Child Development (Red River College) and the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (Université Laval and Université de Montréal). The centre is committed to using the best available evidence on early child development to inform public discourse, public policy and the professional learning of those who work with young children.
